People seem to love them in every review I watch and I think they look great. They seem competitively priced ($800-$950) depending on the model and I also love that they accept CZ Scorpion 35rd magazines.The KP-9 is a US manufactured 9mm semi-automatic AK style pistol. It is based on the Russian Vityaz-SN submachine gun, has a 9.25” barrel and accepts 30 round double stack Kalashnikov USA magazines (10 round magazines are available). KP-9 has a hinge block with a quick detach swivel mount and is SBR ready.The KP9 eats everything out of the box. I actually prefer shooting the KP9 9 over the FM9. The FM9 has a Law folder on the brace so both have folding braces. The FM9 has a 7" barrel versus the 9.25" on the KP9 so it is a couple inches shorter when unfolded. The brace on the FM9 does collapse versus the triangle brace on the KP9.From what supposed former (maybe even current) KUSA employees are saying, the bolt used in the KP has a firing pin block that's out of spec. This means the firing pin is unlocked and free to move before the bolt is fully in battery. The other issue seems to be that the bolt face and firing pin are also out of spec which results in pierced ....
